Anyone who has had the chance to experience the snowy landscapes far from the marked paths, knows that walking with snowshoes is much more than a simple walk across snowy slopes. In the silence, everyday thoughts disappear, nature transmits a sense of humility, your body uses all its strength, but your free spirit wins. It’s a return to the origins, an indescribable sense of life, of close contact with nature, which is worth experiencing.
And when you get back, a nice cup of hot chocolate that gives life and warmth back to your whole body. You can feel strange sense of tiredness in your muscles, a tiredness that makes you calm and content.
For a nice walk with snowshoes, you need:
- suitable equipment (free hire in the hotel)
- careful planning of the route and information on the snow conditions
- knowledge of your own physical condition
- export guide, when taking on a route in unknown areas
- respect for the safety rules in the mountains
- sun cream and sunglasses
- maps or GPS equipment
- respect for flora and fauna
