The Isarco Valley reaches from the Brennero until Bolzano. 15 km after the Brennero is located the old trading-town of Vipiteno and its side-valleys. More South the gorge of Isarco opens and joins into the basin of Bressanone. Heading from north in direction south the village of Velturno with our beautiful wellness hotel Unterwirt is located on the sunny plateau above Bressanone on about 850 meters of latitude. The climate is mild and favorable because of the long and sunny days.

The landscape offers a whole lot of attractions: picturesque vineyards and chest-nut-trees, beautiful meadows and wood. Most amazing are the fascinating Dolomites and the Zillertaler and Stubaier glaciers.
