Precisely because we are not located directly in a skiing area, we make every effort to offer our guests a FIRST CLASS WINTER HOLIDAY SERVICE. Snow-shoe hiking
The Taubers Unterwirt**** hotel is a member of Europe’s association of sporting hotels and in the cold season also offers 5 guided snow-shoe hikes a week. You will experience at first hand an idyllic winter away from ski pistes and ski lifts.
Skiing Ski safaris
Every day our free hotel-ski shuttle will take you to a different, attractive ski area in South Tyrol
Our weekly Highlight: Heli-Skiing
Once a week Taubers Unterwirt has a special event! Our ski-guide will take you into the Gröden valley so that you can get to know the famous “Sellarunde” on skis. At an extra cost, whoever wants to can book a helicopter flight to the Marmolada and view the breath-taking Dolomites from above.
Tobogganing near Feldthurns
There is a wide choice of toboggan runs in the Eisacktal from child-friendly runs of a few hundred metres to longer distances. A toboggan ride in the evening at full moon or along partially flare-lit runs is a special pleasure.
