The Taubers Unterwirt**** hotel is a member of Europe’s association of sporting hotels and in the cold season also offers 5 guided snow-shoe hikes a week. They start directly in front of our hotel or we can take you in our shuttle bus (the first 8 to register can travel by bus; the rest have to follow by car) to the Feldthurn mountain pasture or to the neighbouring valleys of Seiser Alm, Gröden, Villnösser Tal, Villanderer Alm! Snow shoes and sticks are available in the hotel. We recommend that you wear ski clothing, especially waterproof footwear! There are good reasons why snow-shoe hiking has become very popular in recent years. It is the best way to take in the tranquillity and purity of the snow-covered winter countryside. You will experience at first hand an idyllic winter away from ski pistes and ski lifts.
