The hotel can provide you with snowshoes and poles - we recommend wearing ski gear and above all waterproof shoes! Snowshoe hiking hasn't become one of the biggest trends over the past years without a reason: It is the best way to enjoy the quiet and pureness of the snow-covered winter landscape.

Also cross-country skiers will find their paradise on the perfectly groomed trails of the Rodenecker and Villanderer mountain pastures and of the Seiser mountain pasture, all trails can be reached in approx. 20/30 minutes from the hotel. You can also rent equipment at the Plose valley station.
Eisacktal is a paradise for ski tourers.
Many options and different levels of difficulty, beautiful lookouts, comfortable lodges or absolute silence – to each his own – and a great deal of untouched slopes. In Feldthurns, Villnöß, on the Plose, as well as in the northern part of Eisacktal in Ridnaun, Ratschings and Pflersch are gaining in popularity for ski touring. Classical ones such as Königsanger and Latzfoner Kreuz can be found at the Feldthurner high pasture. The PLOSENIGHTS take place on Friday evenings and the slope is opened for ski touring.
Zenleserkofel, Gabler, Schwarzhorn, etc... can be found on the other side of the valley. The Pflersch Valley in Sterzing offers experienced ski tourers deep snow and glistening powder.
